It is always wise to use 2 Flash memory cards when storing images such as holiday photographs. In the event of Camera problems or accidental erasure of data at least some images are saved. Always download images as soon as you can to a laptop or pc. Burning your photographs to CD will also provide a back-up. Always use your camera rather than a PC/Card Reader in order to format your XD Cards or Compact Flash. It is wise to save all of your images regularly and then format the Memory Card periodically.
